The stunning views from the infinity pool overlooking the vineyards were simply breathtaking and provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation.
The access to our room via a narrow spiral staircase was challenging, especially with our luggage and a baby, making it quite inconvenient.

missingWrote a review on Oct 22narrow staircase
Accessing the 2-bedroom unit involved navigating a narrow spiral staircase, which was particularly challenging while carrying luggage and a baby. The layout of the hotel felt awkward, especially with the pool being off the owner's house-didn't provide the privacy one might expect from a vacation spot.

missingWrote a review on Oct 13stunning viewsexceptional servicehome-cooked breakfastawkward layoutlimited dining
Staying at Casal dos Capelinhos felt like a retreat from reality. The modern quinta nestled amidst vineyards offered stunning views that made every moment special. The outdoor spaces were perfect for sipping wine, especially on our private balcony. Breakfast was a highlight with freshly made home-cooked items and an option for on-the-spot eggs, making mornings delightful. The staff were truly exceptional, offering warm service that made us feel right at home. However, the narrow spiral staircase to the two-bedroom unit posed challenges, especially with luggage and a baby. The layout felt awkward with the pool area positioned near the owner's house, which took away from the promised privacy. While dining options were tasty, the limited variety and dinner service days were disappointing. The tranquility here is amazing, but better communication about meal services would make the experience even more enjoyable.

The location is amazing, really providing a peaceful escape. The expansive grounds and fruit garden were a hit with the kids, who loved picking oranges and mandarins daily. Breakfast was a treat every morning, with delicious options that satisfied even our picky eaters.
My kids wished there was a safe way to interact with the pool area without feeling awkward.

The hospitality at this place was great. Pedro, the owner, was not just a host but a storyteller-sharing the rich history of the hotel and wines felt like a personal tour! Plus, I had the absolute best mushroom risotto crafted by Marlene on our last night because I mentioned how much I loved them! Lovely moments!

Can’t even start to describe how at home we felt in this place. The cozy outdoor pool and beautiful sun terrace were perfect spots to unwind. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin our time at all. 👍
